Electronic Repair Division
 The
PC Diagnostics Group specialises in the repair and servicing of
electrical and electronic systems. Repairs are made to component level and include through-hole and
surface-mount technologies.
Repairs made by the company range from simple analogue boards through to the
most sophisticated microprocessor printed circuit boards (PCBs). Our
engineers posses the expertise needed to ensure accurate fault diagnosis in
complex microprocessor systems and the skill to repair the latest
surface mount assemblies.
The
company operates repair contracts for a number of OEM’s and
distributors of PC peripherals. Some 100,000 items have been processed to
date and we now undertake close to
1000 repairs per month. Full PC-based service histories are available for each of these items.
The company also repairs equipment on behalf of OEMs that has been returned under
warranty.
Our
clients include companies who manufacture or deal in, computers,
laptops, telecommunications, battery chargers and DC motor controllers.
In
1995, the company formed two internal divisions to handle different but
related activities. The first division (reflecting the original function of the company) handles
all aspects of computer building and support. The repair of printers, monitors, laptops, network hardware and
power supplies are all covered.
The
Mobility Division (trading as
PC Mobility Services) handles the repair
of wheelchair speed controllers, motors and battery chargers.
